Terms of Service
The service
Core Traces monitors the open web, data brokers, breach databases, and infostealer records for your own identity, and reports what it finds. It is a monitoring and reporting tool only — it never submits removal or opt-out requests, and never contacts any third party, on your behalf. Every action item we surface is for you to execute yourself.
Your account
Access is currently invite-only. You're responsible for the accuracy of the identifiers you give us — they're what we search for, so wrong or someone-else's information will produce wrong or someone-else's results. You're responsible for keeping access to your account (email/magic-link) secure.
Acceptable use
Core Traces is for monitoring your own identity only. You may not use it, or attempt to use it, to monitor, search for, or track anyone else's identity or information.
No guarantee of completeness
We search a broad but necessarily incomplete set of sources on a recurring schedule, not continuously in real time. A clean scan means nothing turned up in that run — it is not a guarantee that no exposure exists. Some sources (e.g. dark-web forums and marketplaces) are currently checked manually on a best-effort basis, not automatically, and that's disclosed on the relevant report pages.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Account settings, which permanently removes your data. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse of the service, including any attempt to monitor someone else's identity.
Liability
Core Traces is provided as-is, without warranty of completeness or accuracy. We are not liable for decisions made or actions taken based on our reports, or for exposure we did not detect.
